My Identity

I am Avrey. My identity to me relies heavily on my sense of family. The fact that I am a sister, a daughter, a grand-daughter, a niece, and a cousin mean the most. In my life my family is the most important thing to me so that is how I identify myself. I also choose to identify myself as an athlete because that is how I keep myself occupied. I choose to identify myself as not just black or not just white because I do not fit in just one of those categories. I am biracial. This is how I identify myself.
